Belgian Choclatique started in December 2013, after a very special dream that was experienced by Adelaine Bruwer six years ago, a visit to Huguenot Fine Chocolates in 2012 in Franschhoek -Cape Town, professional training in July 2013 and the final set up of the chocolate machinery and equipment in November 2013 with the assistance of one of the owners of Huguenot Firm Chocolates.
After the special dream in 2011, a lot of research were done, when a big gap was identified in the Namibian market for high quality chocolate products, especially with the eye on the thousands of tourists visiting our beautiful country throughout the year.
Belgian Choclatique —The “B” for “Best Quality” Chocolate, the reason for that is that we are using Barry Callebaut Chocolate —The World’s leading chocolate producers for more than 150 years.
Quality is the key to all Belgian Choclatiques’ products, which are all handmade and the level of attention and detail that goes into every single chocolate product is unrivalled. Our chocolates are developed with love and passion that are noticed by our clients and mentioned to us on many occasions
We also offer Chocolate making presentations & tasting tours, (half an hour) at our only Walvis Bay Branch at this stage. We are looking at possibly doing something at our Swakopmund Branch as well in future.
